United We Stand Returns in Searcy July 4 to Celebrate America's 250th Birthday
The City of Searcy and Searcy Beats & Eats invites residents and visitors from across the region to celebrate America's 250th birthday at the sixth annual United We Stand Festival on Saturday, July 4. The event is one of Arkansas' largest Independence Day celebrations and will feature live music, family activities, food trucks, a patriotic tribute, a drone show, and a fireworks finale.
The celebration will begin at 4:00 p.m. when parking opens. Food trucks, merchant vendors, and the Kid Zone will open at 6:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of entertainment and patriotic celebration.
The White County Community Band will open the entertainment lineup at 6:00 p.m., followed by Makiyah Mustiful, a Top 20 finalist on Season 24 of American Idol, at 6:30 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., attendees will gather for a special patriotic program commemorating America's 250th birthday. The program will include tributes to the nation's history, service, and freedoms, along with opportunities to honor those who have served our country.
Headlining the evening at 8:30 p.m. will be Handsome Devils, the ultimate Eagles tribute band, performing many of the iconic hits that made the Eagles one of America's most beloved bands.
The evening will conclude with a spectacular patriotic drone show and fireworks display beginning at 9:30 p.m.
In addition to the entertainment, families can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the evening. The Kid Zone will feature inflatables, bounce houses, a petting zoo, obstacle courses, and other family-friendly attractions. Food trucks and vendors from across the region will be onsite offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and merchandise.
Admission to the event is free. Onsite parking is available for $5 per vehicle, and unlimited access to the Kid Zone is just $5 per child.
"This year's celebration is especially meaningful as our nation marks its 250th birthday," said Mayor Mat Faulkner. "United We Stand has become one of Searcy's signature events, and we're excited to welcome families from across Arkansas to celebrate our nation's history, our freedoms, and our community together."
