Each year, members of the CARTI Searcy Auxiliary help light up the White County Courthouse Square with the Holiday Luminary Project. Donors purchase luminaries bearing the names of people they wish to honor or memorialize and the luminaries are put on display during the traditional lighting of the courthouse on the first Friday of December. This annual holiday event provides financial assistance to CARTI Searcy cancer patients, buying needed equipment and underwriting patient educational efforts. Hundreds of people participate in the Holiday Luminary project each year.
